IASSIST/IFDO 2005 Home

The IASSIST Conference returns to UK in May 2005. The IASSIST conference venue usually follows a 4 year cycle of USA, Canada, USA and Europe. Edinburgh University Data Library hosted the conference in Edinburgh in 1993 and we are delighted to welcome IASSIST back in 2005.

This will be a joint conference between IASSIST, the International Association of Social Science Information Service & Technology, and IFDO, the International Federation of Data Organisations.

The main conference is from Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th May in the Holyrood Hotel in the centre of Edinburgh's Old Town. It will be preceded by workshops and followed by a Highland Weekend for those interested in seeing more of Scotland.

The IASSIST/IFDO 2005 conference theme is Evidence and Enlightenment.

Multimedia presentations from the conference are now available from the IASSIST website - 13 June, 2005.

Arrival Instructions added - Note, if delegates arrive on or before Tuesday 24th May and do not have a chance to register, please come along to Our Dynamic Earth on Holyrood Road for the Welcome Reception & Icebreaker at 7 PM.
